The basic criteria for the development of the project refer to the desire to build a multi-perceptive landscape in which the different connection needs (vehicular and pedestrian/cycle) build a landscape system of interest, not limited only by the dimensional needs of the road system. The opportunity to be seized is to redefine a layout of the paths and rest areas that dialogue with the valuable elements of the nearby landscape, reinterpreting the road as a functional hinge in the wooded strip between the beach and the consolidated residential fabric, rather than as a break. The intervention offers the opportunity to include in the overall design, vegetated areas, subject to the planting of tree specimens and bands of perennials and grasses that become a bioclimatic regulation device, a drainage system and control of rainwater as well as an element of landscape quality.
